I just love it when the pros come to us.

Hello friends,

We've serviced a lot of well known talent here over the past 32 years.

We've met and talked to almost everybody.

Even after all this time, I just can't help to get "warm fuzzies" when they contact us.

Today we got a call from Peter Samelson.

Circa 1982 I remember seeing Samelson for the first time on the Robert Klein Show.

I remember vividly three things he performed. Wild Card, Snow Storm In China & Ring Flite.

His patter for both Wild Card & Snow Storm will stick in my mind for the rest of my life. Originality and entertainment is what it is all about. I do not remember much about his presentation for Ring Flite, but this was a long time ago and 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

I would mention what he did that was so wonderful but I want to protect his treasures from potential thieves who are not familiar with his work. His material is that good.

I had seen Snow Storm before on TV at at nearly every magic convention and I always loved it.
Before I started working here, I tried several times to have Ronjo order it for me. Sadly he did not know where to get it from.

In 1995, a young man named Larry Maples came into our shop. He had just moved to Long Island. He & I became fast friends. It was just by sheer luck that he manufactured the Snow Storm effect that I had been wanting to use for many many years.

Years later I saw Samelson saw perform at Monday Night Magic. Well sort of, I unfortunately can not remember a thing he did as I was helping friends Larry Maples & Raven, that were performing that night backstage so my mind was elsewhere.

Here is the crazy part, while Snow Storm is still my favorite stage effect, to this day I have never used a gimmick, not even for practice. How about that?! The truth is I do not perform stage magic, so I really can't use this great effect.
